With Roof Overhead República Moves In
QUITO, Ecuador – Work continues to
progress on the República Church Worship Center.
With the recent addition of the roof, the
congregation has started to hold Sunday services in
the unfinished facility. Further work has been
slowed by a shortage of funds for construction. The
church is thankful for the additional space, but
lacking doors and windows, the new worship center is
chilly at times in the mountain climes of Quito. A
small completed section of the building is serving
as a medical and dental clinic. In April, a medical
team from Hudson Chapel – a sister church in Ohio –
conducted a joint medical outreach with the
República Church.
