Rapid Growth in Quito’s Newest Church

QUITO, Ecuador. The newest Encounter
with God Church in Quito, Ecuador is also the
fastest growing. Planted in 2004 by the El Batán
Church. The new Valle de Los Chillos Church has
grown faster than envisioned. Since September
attendance has nearly quadrupled, rising from 80 to
340 people. Work is underway to knock out one wall
of the building serving as the temporary worship
center in order to construct a temporary extension
that will double the seating capacity of the church.
The church’s pastoral leadership is praying that the
church will continue to grow to more than 500 by the
end of the year.
