Standing in front of the capacity
crowd of 1,500 people present for the dedication of
the República Church’s new worship center, CMI
Executive Director Jim Murray asked, “Did you ever
have a dream come true?” The congregation erupted in
applause.
The completion of the República
Worship Center is just that. It is the fulfillment
of a dream that the República leadership and CMI
launched several years ago. A dream to equip the
church with the physical resources needed to be a
dynamic, multiplying church in the city of Quito.
With its strategic location and
eye-catching street presence, the new worship center
promises to be a lighthouse for the gospel for years
to come. Moreover, the completion of the worship
center represents a major step toward the
fulfillment of CMI´s Quito Initiative––a vision of
developing 20 Encounter with God churches in Quito
by 2023.
