Pastor Eduardo Mercon Recovering
CARACAS, Venezuela. Pastor Eduardo
Mercon of Caracas, Venezuela returned home in May
2006 after being hospitalized for 10 days in
critical condition in Dallas, Texas. Pastor Mercon
was in Dallas visiting his daughter when he began to
experience shortness of breath. Doctors diagnosed
him with a serious heart condition. Unfortunately,
the Mercons’ insurance did not provide coverage for
him while he was away from Venezuela. Through the
generous help of others, CMI established a fund to
assist in the payment of the Mercons’ medical
expenses. Thankfully, the Lord led the hospital to
write off approximately 90% of its charges and to
provide a letter to the doctors with hopes that they
might agree to do the same. Please continue to pray
that these remaining expenses will be met.
